The 100 year war between the Daisuke and Wataro Clans begins over the affaire between Takeo Wataro and Mina Diasuke. (Described by Ken as the basis for the Kabuki play "Eternal Longing Forever Sorrow.")

End of the 100 year war between the Daisuke and Wataro clans. (Details not yet revealed)

Genchu trains some of Hirotomo's guards to fight blindfolded.

Hirotomo instructs Yori on the responsibilities of leadership.

Hirotomo's wife is killed by a rebellious faction of the Daisuke clan.

Hirotomo decides to wipe out the Daisuke clan. Genchu's refuses to help and defects.

Tadashii's family sword is cut in half in a fight against Genchu.

Ken is saved by Genchu from General Nataku. Nataku loses a finger in the fight.

Genchu returns to Wataro Castle to kill Hirotomo and avenge the Daisuke clan.

Yori asks Hirotomo to spare Genchu's life. Hirotomo agrees, but under the condition that Yori never mention the traitor's name again.

Unknown to Yori, Hirotomo forms the Demons of Sorrow to track down and kill Genchu. They are unable to complete this task.

Yori runs away to avoid his arranged marriage with Ina. His specific reasons for wanting to avoid the marriage are not yet given.

Master Zhao dies and appoints Cho as his successor. Wu and Tang lie about Zhao's final wishes and appoint themselves as his successor. Cho is ordered to leave the monastery.

Ina learns about the Wataro-Senshin peace treaty and her arranged marriage.

Ina runs away.

Ina's parents discover her absence.

Ina's attacked by bandits. Yori's shows up to save her.

En route to Hirotomo, Masuhiro is captured by the Izuma ninjas, who claim to be working for the Wataro clan.

Eijiro visits Senshin castle to see Ina. Yukizane lies to him about her status.

Hirotomo sends the Demons of Sorrow to track down and kill Yori.

The main cast is attacked by Bunzo, the rock ninja, in retaliation for the deaths of his two ninja friends at the inn.

Masuhiro wakes up in captivity along with the two bandits (Fujio and Fumio) who attacked Ina.

Masuhiro helps the bandits escape and asks them to find Yori. He returns to question the ninjas' leader, Suzuka, but is recaptured. (First time)

Bunzo runs out of rocks to throw. He withdraws from the fight

The cast reaches Kyoto. Ken steals a wallet from a random bystander and goes to a kabuki play.

Cho is distracted by a hotdog vendor. The purple samurai is introduced.

Yori saves a kid from a drunken purple samurai.

Yori is knocked out in the fight and presumed to be mortally wounded.

Fujio and Fumio arrive in Kyoto.

Matrix disguises herself as a nurse to help Yori, but finds him uninjured.

Ina reveals to Yori her clan name and that she had run away. Yori agrees to help her return home.

Yukizane learns of Masuhiro's capture, but determines that Masuhiro is not in any immediate danger.

Masuhiro escapes from his cell and attempts to gain more information from Suzuka. He is once again captured. (Second time)

Suzuka sends Ayane to kill Yori to both fulfill their contract and avenge Bunzo (who they expect is dead,) and the other two ninjas.

Ken runs into Ennosuke, a kabuki actor, and coerces him to giving him a free pass to a play.

Wu and Tang, members of Cho's monastery make port at Nagasaki.

The Demons of Sorrow reach Kyoto. They decide who will attack Yori first.

The Demons of Sorrow follow a ninja scout back to Ayane and confront her over her intentions with Yori. Ayane loses the fight and returns to Suzuka.

The main cast racks up a large bill at the inn. To pay it off Ken mugs four pedestrians outside.

The main cast goes to Ennosuke's play, but find it's cancled due to Ken's earlier mugging.

Ken convinces Yori, Ina, and Cho to fill in for the injured actors.

Ayane informs Suzuka of the Demons of Sorrow incident. Suzuka reveals a planned meeting with their benefactor.

Hirotomo learns about Masuhiro's disappearance and suspects he is gathering support for war.

Hirotomo sends Nataku to join Eijiro in investigating the Senshin clan.

Fumio and Fujio dive into the kabuki theatre to avoid getting caught for stealing fruit.

Wu and Tang enter Kyoto.

As the kabuki play collapses into chaos, Fumio and Fujio recognize Yori and call out his full name.

Ina realizes that she was supposed to marry Yori, and the play ends.

The bandits try to catch up with Yori. Wu and Tang follow them.

Wu and Tang meet up with the main cast and reveal they're there to kill Cho.

Ken attacks Wu and Tang and is easily knocked out.

Cho attacks Wu and Tang. Yori and Ina drag Ken to safety.

The bandits catch up to Yori and Ina, but are secretly followed by Ryoku.

Ryoku reveals his intention to kill Yori and attacks.

Matrix leaves a sword behind for the bandits to find and give to Yori.

Tang reveals that Wu has learned a technique forbidden by their former master: the 1000 Fists of Fury!

Cho manages to escape from his fight with Wu and Tang, but injures his arm in the process.

Yori and Ryoku's fight is interrupted by a sudden downpour, limiting Ryoku's ability to fight.

Ryoku kidnaps Ina and orders Yori to find him at an abandoned Shinto shrine at noon the next day.

Masuhiro attempts to escape from the ninja horde, but is recaptured. (third time)

Masuhiro is taken to the ninja's client, who is revealed to be Eijiro, who is acting without Hrotomo's knowledge.

Eijiro explains his intent is to sabotage the potential Wataro-Senshin peace treaty and secure his succession to the leadership of the Wataro clan by killing Yori.

Eijiro pays Suzuka for capturing Masuhiro and releases them from their contract to kill Yori. Suzuka plans to continue hunting Yori for revenge reasons.

Now free of the original contract with Eijiro, Suzuka orders Ayane to negotiate the ransom and return of Masuhiro to the Senshin clan.

Eijiro returns to his encampment, where he is met by Nataku, who reveals the he is aware of Eijiro's actions behind Hirotomo's back.

Nataku tells Eijiro of Genchu's return to Wataro castle.

Eijiro and Nataku agree to not visit Senshin palace. Instead they decide to deceive Hirotomo into believing the Senshin clan is a threat to them.
