So Mindy and I were chatting about how they’d explain The Joker’s absence in The Dark Knight Rises, and Mindy said “Maybe Batman just forgot about him.” And after an idle conversation about an exchange between Bruce and Alfred, this mini strip was born!
As a side note, I decided to go black and white after I’d drawn and partly inked the comic already. Originally batman was going to be typing on a holographic keyboard, but I couldn’t get it to work right in black and white, so let’s just assume that he’s POISED TO TYPE!
